Patrick W. and Mary Louise Kennedy,
Senior Overseers

Patrick and Mary Louise Kennedy are Co-Founders of Grace Covenant Ministries International and Faith Alive Family Church in Clayton, NC. Both are from North Carolina and were raised under the influence of many well-known ministers and ministries such as Dr. Elmer Bredbrenner, Jack Hayford, Norvel Hayes, Marilyn Hickey, Dr. Frederick Price, Lester Sumrall, Mack Timberlake, Morris Cerullo and C. M. Ward. Patrick attended Barton College and is a graduate of Southeastern Bible College of the Assemblies of God and Jacksonville Theological Seminary. He attended Jack Hayford’s Church-plant-Boot Camp for intensive training on effective Church-planting in the spring of 1999. Mary Louise has a BA in English from Meredith College and is a graduate of the Word of Faith Bible Institute. Patrick and Mary Louise were married in December 2000 and founded Faith Alive Family Church in November 2002. Faith Alive Family Church is the first of many churches that will be birthed in the Southeast region of the United States and abroad.

Both Patrick and Mary Louise have a strong Apostolic call on their lives and are very determined to fulfill the vision that God has mandated to them. The Lord has given them a two-fold purpose. The first purpose is to raise up and lead an apostolic ministry modeled after the apostolic fundamental truths laid down by the original twelve Apostles in the Book of Acts of the New Testament. This involves raising up those who are called to the Five-Fold ministry to plant churches and to assist in equipping and training the saints for the final approach. The second purpose is to challenge and inspire the body of Christ to a deeper, daily surrender to the Lordship of Jesus and to commit fully to becoming the final witnesses they are called to be by the Great Commission.
